TRAINING COURSES
Tide Power System have been providing high quality training on an international basis for few years. Courses are offered to all our customers and subjects range from introduction to gensets, to more advanced topics for experienced personnel. Unique generator technology training is delivered by committed training staff. Each of our trainers has extensive experience of the product, they have typically served in design or manufacture, field service and in test bed fault finding.
FACILITIES
Courses can take place at our headquarters in Fuzhou, China or we can arrange for an instructor to visit your premises. This service is available internationally and ensures that the course is specifically built around the needs of your particular organisation. All Courses are delivered in a purpose built training suite which can accommodate up to 15 trainees in a spacious environment .
WORKSHOP
The unique workshops offered provide you with the information necessary to analyse, monitor and troubleshoot power quality and related problems. Courses have been structured to provide a complete tutorial. The material is covered by means of an interactive lecturing style, with plenty of practical and realistic examples derived from our trainers years of experience.
THEORY INTO PRACTICE
Our instructors understand the value of combining theoretical learning with practical application. All workshops include practical, hands-on sessions where the delegates are give the opportunity to apply in practice the theory they have learnt.
COURSE CONTENT
The course will focus on TPS Genset and its accessories. Delegates will learn to identify and understand the function of the key components of a Genset. This will be broken into five specific areas, the engine, the alternator, the control system, trouble-shooting and the new product introduction.
The training equipment used will include engines, alternators, control panels, videos, manuals and schematics.
An Tide Power Systam training manual will be provided for each attendee and a Certificate of Competence will be issued to each successful candidate.
ENGINE
The main system will be covered, that is the fuel system, oil system, coolant system, and the air system.The fuel pump settings and adjustments also oil specifications etc.
Electronic and mechanical governing is explained showing fitting, adjustment and set-up.
ALTERNATOR
The alternator principles of operation will be explained in detail, form the diodes and surge suppresser to connection changes of the output terminals and operation and adjustment of the voltage regulator.
CONTROL SYSTEM
The topics covered in this section will be the AC and DC connections from the alternator and engine, the DC charging system, the Engine Interface Module and whatever range of control panels are appropriate. All types of relevant adjustment will be explained.

SUITABILITY
This course is aimed at a genset operator, Service man and sales with technical background who will be required to operate, maintain, make adjustments and professional sales to a genset .
